My laborious task was the photographic documentation.and setting out to mow the lawn, with Adam strapped into the pack for old times' sake.
And here are the kids hard at work.
By the way, if you're backing up to get a better camera angle on your daughter in a pile of leaves, and you suddenly find that your foot won't lift up, it may turn out to be because your flip-flop is stuck on a metal garden rake that your 3-year-old son left lying, tines up, in the middle of the lawn. You will be glad you were not barefoot.
See what's still up in that tree?

Beautiful photos. You're doing that camera proud.
Wow, I'm SO glad for your strong-soled flip-flops. Yikes.
P.S. Dean forgot to pick up Mabel (even though I had called his cell phone to remind him,) and after he came home without her I had to send him back for her. Sorry. He was supposed to apologize profusely but he says since she came out to the car he didn't get a chance.
I'm not jealous of your leaf raking, but I am jealous of your photo ops. Beautiful.
So very lovely (the children, not so much Peter with the leaf blower)
All good.
We have three big maple trees in our side yard, and they spread leaves like glitter halfway down the street. I love it!
