Can We Please Be Done Now?

Attention, all infectious microbes:

LEAVE US ALONE! Get out of my life! You are not welcome here!

Thank you. That is all.

(Do you think they heard?)

These two sickos are pretty cute, though. Ellen climbed up in the bed where Peter was watching Wimbledon highlights and requested, "Stah Bers." She shares Adam's love of Star Wars clips on YouTube.

They've been sick since Monday -- the latest installment in a series of what seems like way more than our share of infections since mid-winter. This one is probably swine flu, though we didn't have them tested. I think this might be the first time one of my children has had a high fever on five consecutive days. Peter has lost ten pounds. Apparently that can happen when you don't feel like eating anything but popsicles for a week. This is not a diet tip.

The truth is, I've loved having Peter home from work, but next time he takes a week off, I hope it's for something nicer than sick leave.

Ellen looks so cuddly. Cute cute cute. Sorry she's not feeling well, though.

I was really sick a couple days ago and was feeling kinda sick again this evening and realizing that my well days in the past, oh, six months have been in the minority to my sick days. I think my kids have come closer to half and half. Still, bleh.

I don't like it when the people I love are sick. Since Monday? Wow, so sorry.

so sorry! she does look awfully cuddly though. :)

we didn't get tested either, but are fairly certain swine flu was in our house. our doctor said, "if it looks like a pig and oinks like a pig, you've probably got a pig."

the good news is it ran about a week so your guys should be feeling better soon.

Swine flu?! Holy smokes. I did hear it was rampant in Utah. So sorry! It's lovely to have snuggly kids but that's a pretty hefty price to pay for the privilege. Hope everyone is on the mend soon!

Hope you are all better by now! We were sick all spring... yuck. I'm glad we got out of Utah before the swine flu really hit or we would have had it too for sure. Hope you all get that week of "real" vacation soon.
